FAQ

FAQ

Independent technical service in Istanbul for fault diagnosis, maintenance, repair, installation and technical support.

Is Onarhane an authorised service centre?

No. Onarhane provides independent technical service. For products under manufacturer warranty, use the manufacturer’s authorised service channel.

Does an error code prove the failed part?

Not always. The code should be verified against brand, model and series; final diagnosis requires inspection and measurements.

Where do the error-code meanings come from?

Error-code details are published when they can be verified against manufacturer support or a manufacturer manual. Unverified codes are not turned into definitive part diagnoses.

Do you plan service across Istanbul?

Planning covers 39 districts, subject to appointment availability, device type, neighbourhood and address access.

Can I find service information by neighbourhood name?

Yes. Key neighbourhoods are listed on district pages with direct links to relevant services, appliances and fault guides.

Can the final price be confirmed by phone?

The model and symptom help with preliminary assessment; the final scope and any part requirement are confirmed after inspection.

Is same-day service guaranteed?

No. Availability depends on the day, district, appliance type and appointment load. The nearest available time is shared with the request.

Can international residents request service?

Yes. The site can be used in Turkish, English, Arabic and Russian, and the WhatsApp service request is prepared in the selected language.

What should I send with a service request?

Brand, exact model/product code, device type, symptom, displayed error code, district/neighbourhood and a short photo or video when useful.

Do brand logos mean authorised service status?

No. Brand names and visuals identify devices only and do not imply authorised-service, dealership or official representation unless explicitly stated.

What are the opening hours?

Current business-listing hours are Monday-Saturday 08:00-22:00 and Sunday 09:30-17:30.

What if my appliance is still under warranty?

If manufacturer warranty is active, the manufacturer’s authorised service channel is recommended first.

Where can I find the model or product code?

The model/product code is usually on a manufacturer label inside a door, on a side panel or at the rear. A clear photo of the label helps avoid model confusion.

Can I request service if there is no error code?

Yes. Describe what the appliance does, when it stops, and any sound, smell, water, heating or cooling behaviour. That is enough for an initial assessment.

Is a photo or short video useful?

Yes. A display warning, rating label, leak location, unusual sound or operating behaviour can be easier to assess from a short photo or video. Do not open the appliance to obtain one.

What should I do if I smell gas or burning, or see an electrical risk?

Stop using the unit and isolate power safely. For a gas smell, ventilate the area and avoid switches or devices that can create a spark. Use the relevant emergency/distribution line if there is an immediate hazard.
